Responsibilities

  • Cruise ships are massive, and they need reliable hands for these straightforward hospitality and service roles:
  • Restaurant Utility & Galley Stewards: Helping with kitchen cleanliness, washing dishes, and preparing food stations.
  • Assistant Cabin Stewards / Housekeeping: Keeping guest rooms clean, fresh, and perfectly organized.
  • Bar Utility & Wait Staff: Serving drinks, clearing tables, and managing guest lounges.
  • Guest Service Associates: Working at the reception desk to help travelers with their general inquiries.

Qualifications

  • To successfully clear the screening process and match with cruise line employers, ensure you meet these basic points:
  • Age Limit: You must be at least 21 years old to work on most US-based cruise ships.
  • Language Skills: Good conversational English is highly preferred since you will be dealing with international guests.
  • Physical Fitness: Cruise life involves long standing hours and active movement, so physical stamina is necessary.
  • Valid Passport & Medical: A clean international passport and the ability to pass a maritime medical exam.
