Job description

J10 Consulting is recruiting an Electrical Design Engineer for a consultancy assignment in Dubai, supporting building projects across residential, commercial, retail, and entertainment sectors. The position suits an experienced electrical engineering professional with strong BIM/Revit capabilities and practical knowledge of electrical systems, ELV, and dry utilities. The assignment is initially structured as a 3-month contract, with immediate joining required.

Responsibilities

Develop and coordinate electrical design solutions using Autodesk Revit and other relevant engineering software.
Support electrical engineering studies
calculations
design development
and technical evaluations throughout project stages.
Contribute to electrical
ELV
and dry utility design work for different types of building projects.
Prepare technical calculations
supporting documentation
and project records in line with applicable codes and standards.
Assist with design quality assurance and prepare technical information required for QA/QC reviews.
Coordinate engineering activities with the MEP Director and other project stakeholders.
Support communication with vendors and contribute to the technical review of services and equipment.
Maintain organized design documentation while contributing to effective multidisciplinary project coordination.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
At least 6 years of professional experience after completing an undergraduate degree.
Previous experience within a recognized engineering consultancy or PMC environment is preferred.
Strong practical knowledge of electrical systems
ELV
and dry utilities.
Experience working on residential
commercial
retail
and entertainment projects.
Strong BIM and Autodesk Revit skills alongside standard electrical design software.
