Responsibilities
- Lead the technical design and development of complex 5G software solutions covering 5G Core and/or Radio Access Network technologies.
- Develop and support software that enables interoperability between 5G networks and systems such as Wi-Fi, legacy radio, and satellite technologies.
- Contribute directly to software development, debugging, testing, and performance optimization.
- Help shape software architecture and maintain technical consistency across development projects.
- Review code and provide technical direction, mentoring, and guidance to other engineers.
- Work with product, hardware, project management, and other technical teams to translate requirements into practical software solutions.
- Identify performance and scalability issues and implement improvements for reliability and responsiveness.
- Maintain technical documentation and contribute to engineering standards, development practices, and quality processes.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend suitable tools, frameworks, or approaches for future development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 8–12 years of relevant professional software development experience.
- More than 5 years of experience specifically working with 5G Core and/or 5G RAN software development.
- Strong software development, testing, debugging, and quality assurance capabilities.
- Knowledge of software architecture and experience working on complex software solutions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and technical leadership skills.
Preferred qualifications
- Practical experience working across both 5G Core and RAN technologies.
- Experience integrating 5G solutions with Wi-Fi, satellite, or legacy communication systems.
- Experience leading technical initiatives and mentoring software engineering teams.
- Familiarity with modern software development tools, frameworks, and engineering methodologies.
