Customer Service Representative

Job description

Sharjah Airport, a major aviation and cargo hub serving the emirate since 1976, regularly recruits Customer Service Representatives to support passenger check-in, inquiries, and terminal operations. This is an ongoing recruitment channel rather than a single fixed vacancy — the airport accepts applications year-round for this role type.

Responsibilities

• Assist passengers with check-in, boarding, and general inquiries
• Provide information on flight schedules, gate changes, and airport services
• Handle passenger concerns and escalate issues where needed
• Coordinate with ground and security staff to ensure smooth terminal flow
• Maintain professional, multilingual communication with a diverse traveler base

Requirements

• Strong communication skills, English required (additional languages an advantage)
• Customer service or hospitality experience preferred
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights/weekends (airport operations run 24/7)
• Professional appearance and demeanor

Preferred qualifications

• Previous aviation or airport ground operations experience
• Additional language skills (Arabic, Hindi, Urdu, etc.)
