Job description

Support Disney's live and event-based streaming and broadcast systems (Disney+, ESPN+, Hulu) as part of the Transmission Engineering team, ensuring 24/7 signal quality and delivery across the company's IP-based transmission ecosystem.

Responsibilities

Monitor and troubleshoot linear and event-based acquisition signals across formats (IP
fiber
satellite)
Perform quality control on video
audio
and closed captioning to meet strict broadcast standards
Act as technical liaison between internal departments and external partners
Route and monitor multiple audio/video feeds across facilities and data centers
Identify and resolve issues in live production environments

Requirements

Basic understanding of streaming technology and transmission workflows
Familiarity with signal transport methods: satellite
fiber
IP-based (HLS
RTMP
SRT
unicast/multicast)
Ability to follow SOPs and execute assigned workflows accurately
